Instead of providing snacks, we are looking for donations to make an activity supply kit for each child since we can’t share items between kids this year.
We are needing donations to make 32 kits.
One kit includes:
- 1 bottle of white glue
- 1 glue stick
- 1 pack of 24 crayons
- 1 pack of pencil crayons (please include a sharpener)
- I pack of markers
- I pair of scissors
See picture below of items required (all items were purchased from Dollarama) and they do not need to be brand names!
NOTE: For the packages of glue that contain more than one item, we will not need 32 packages (just a total of 32 glue bottles/sticks).
Please drop off your donations at Gale by Tuesday, August 10th.
Office hours are:
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday – 9am to 4 pm (there will be a drop off bin outside the doors when Janice is gone for lunch)

Camp Kintail is owned by the Presbyterian Church and is the site of summer camp for many youth. It offers heated and unheated cabins as well as some lodging in the main lodge, heated hall where a full kitchen easily accommodates the 40 to 50 who attend each year.
Camp Kintail and Camp Cairn both provide summer camp experiences for youth. Children of church members are sponsored for 60% of their camp fees at these two camps:
Many members have fond memories of camp experiences and credit the camp, the counsellors and the friendships made with fellow campers as having a significant positive influence in their lives.
There’s more than one happy couple at Gale who met each other at camp!
