PLEASE NOTE:
Rev. Sinclair will be back in the office on Tuesday, September 29.
Rev. Kees Vandermey will be around for any pastoral and prayer concerns during this time.

COMMUNION SERVICE – Sunday, October 4
If you come to the church to participate, we will have pandemic appropriate elements available.
If you choose to stay at home to worship, remember to be prepared for communion during this service.

CALLING ALL APPLE PIE VOLUNTEERS
Early this week an email was sent out with volunteer information regarding the Apple Pie Fundraiser.  If you did not receive that email, visit our website for the details. https://www.galepresbyterian.com/apple-pie-volunteers/

We need to hear from all of our volunteers as soon as possible.

What are you thankful for? Here’s how you can participate…
We would like to put together a video of things that we are thankful for and we need your help.  Send us a video of your family doing an activity, reading a poem, singing a song or a picture of a craft/picture that your child made – anything that shows what Thanksgiving means to you.
This video compilation will be played during our worship service on Sunday, October 11.  Just a reminder that this will be live on our Gale YouTube channel.
Please submit your video to melanie.dow@galepresbyterian.com by Sunday, October 4th.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask Melanie!  We are looking forward to see what we can create.

Ride for PWS&D
You are invited to participate with the Gale Riders on a cycling fundraiser for PWS&D (Presbyterian World Service & Development) on Saturday, October 3rd.  Money raised will help farmers in third world countries receive training to help improve crop yields, improve their nutrition and deal with the impacts of climate change.  You choose the distance you wish to cycle 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 kms and trails close to Elmira will be used.  Cycling during COVID does have some restrictions and protocols which will be put into place to assure safety. This ride is being organized by Darlene & Kees Vandermey.
If you wish to participate, please let them know by Friday, September 25th.  For more info or to donate, contact Darlene at dvandermey3@gmail.com or 226-989-0986.
