Shattered World View
Isaiah 6:1-8, Luke 5:1–11
Can you imagine a scene in your life as described in Isaiah’s vision? Can you imagine a scene in your life like Peter encountering Jesus on the beach? Both of these men kept usual mundane lives up until they get called.
And then their world view is shattered. A call to proclaim the good news takes these people way beyond their comfort zone. And well it should! When God is encountered in our visions or in our work places we see that something completely different is about to happen in our world.
Do we actually see this? Does the reality of the Christ really challenge our world view? It should.
