Sermon Short for March 8th, 2020
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD
Romans 8:31-39, Luke 23:39–43
There are a host of memes about “two types” of people. I have a plaque on my desk that quotes, “Some people take a walk in the rain. Others just get wet.” I’m sure you’ve been asked, “Is your glass half-empty or half-full?” We all have our own way of handling what happens to us, especially when it comes to our suffering.
We continue our Lent series of looking at the last words of Christ from the cross. Two people were crucified along with Jesus. They go down in history as a “two-types-of-people” meme.
