At Gale we understand that giving will not be the same for everyone: not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice. Like the widow we read about in Mark, she did not give at the same level as her wealthy neighbours. But she gave what she could.
If we look at Peter’s reference, however, we would understand Stewardship as also being the personal gifts we receive – consider the ability to teach, the ability to inspire volunteers, the ability to cook and bake, the ability to run audio-visual equipment, the ability to care for children, the ability to provide pastoral care or the ability to … the list of gifts church members bring to Gale are as numerous as the membership itself.
Financial support remains important, to maintain our facility for both worship and service, and to pay the staff who keep us operating each week.
Consider these options for your support:
Interac E-Transfer
Through your online bank portal, you can send donations to bookkeeper@galepresbyterian.com
In the memo/notes section, please include as much information as possible:
* Indicate what fund you would like your money to be allocated to
* Your church envelope number or name
* If you are required to include a password, please use “Gale”.
Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG)
You can arrange to have your givings happen automatically each month.
Please fill out this form and return it to the church.
You can either drop it off at the mail slot located to the left of the main doors, or if you have the ability to scan, you can email it to office@galepresbyterian.com
Sunday Plate
You can also bring a cheque, or cash, to leave in the offering plate any Sunday or drop it off in our mail slot (located on the door to the left of the main entrance).
Please make cheques payable to “Gale Presbyterian Church.”
If you don’t have a numbered envelope, ensure your name and address is on the envelope so that we can provide you with a tax receipt for your donation.

Canada Helps
You can donate to Gale through the Canada Helps website by clicking on the icon below.
Please note that you will receive a donation receipt from Canada Helps and not from Gale.
This method of giving works best for someone who resides outside of the area and who wants to make a one-time donation to Gale. Please note there is a fee associated with this method that goes to Canada Helps.
