New Elders 2021
The Session of Gale Presbyterian Church is the group that discerns and directs our ministry in our community. It is made up of men and women who feel called to take up leadership in the church. Every two years some members (called Elders) retire from this group and new members join. We are now searching for new Elders and we request your input in the nominating process. We are looking for 5-6 persons to serve a 6 year term.
There is a form available for anyone to make suggestions of who they believe would serve well in this capacity. You can get the form from the office, from your elder or emailed to you. Any current member of Session and Rev. Sinclair are available to answer any question you may have about this essential role in our ministry.
Please use this opportunity to assist the Gale Session as we move forward into a vibrant future.

Apple Pie Orders

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
We are in need of more volunteers to help make the apple pie production successful.
Our Covid protocol: We are setting up tables so that workers are distanced from one another – and we are putting family units together on tasks to respect bubbles. Masks are mandatory – and worn by all.
If you are able and comfortable in helping out in any capacity, please contact Melanie Dow as soon as possible (melanie.dow@galepresbyterian.com)
Gale is in search of a freezer and some props!
The Apple Pie Gang is looking for the donation of a freezer for church use.
We would be happy to accept either a chest freezer, or an upright freezer, and arrange the pick up. Please contact Mel at melanie.dow@presbyterian.com or Lee at lee.coulman@gmail.com if you think you can help, or call the church office.
We are planning to prepare a “Covid-safe” (aka video) Christmas concert which will be aired in December. To help us prepare, we would like to obtain some turf, or imitation grass, or some green carpet. If this is something you have stored in your garage or shed, and would be willing to either loan or give it to the “prop department,” it would be welcomed.
