This is a day to learn about residential schools.

At the morning service Lew Ford – former chair of the National Presbyterian Church Committee on Truth & Reconciliation will speak. That’s at 10:30 a.m.

Then at 7:00 p.m. we hold a special event in the Fellowship Hall.
The Good Hearted Women Singers will be part of the evening.
Guest speakers  in the evening will be:
Kelly Laurila – Saami & Irish ancestry, Song Carrier of Mino Ode Kwewak n`gamowak, Learner of discourses in reconciliation.
Theresa McGregor – Aanishnaabe kwe, Song Carrier,
Robert Brown – Waterloo Region Police Services, retired detective & chair of the National Committee who interviewed 1000s of residential school survivors.
There will be a smudging ceremony.

There will be a free will offering for First Nations ministry.  Receipts will be given for donations over $20.00.

A reception will follow.
