Advent/Christmas Resources

Journey to Christmas – Advent Devotional

This devotional is great for all ages. It includes six devotionals for each Sunday in Advent, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Gather round the table with friends and family to celebrate the story of Christmas.

Journey to Bethlehem – Walking Devotional

Mary and Joseph had a long walk from Nazareth to Bethlehem. This Advent you are invited to walk with Mary and Joseph. Using this walking devotional, you can reflect on their journey as well as various scripture readings while you walk and record your distance each day. Challenge yourself or as a group to see if you can walk the distance to Bethlehem before Christmas Day.

Travelling Mary and Joseph
Throughout Advent, Mary and Joseph nativity figurines will be travelling to different homes in the congregation to spend the night. Those who host Mary and Joseph will be invited to read the story of their journey to Bethlehem and create a comfortable or creative resting place for them. The next day you will deliver them to the next home on the list. If you are interested in participating, please email with your address, phone number and days that you are available to participate.

WCS Family Sponsorship
The Sunday School is sponsoring a local family through Woolwich Community Services this Christmas. There are fun crafts that they have made which can be purchased at the church.
