Announcements for Sunday, August 30

ANNOUNCEMENTS

TODAY **Join us for refreshments and fellowship after worship **
Tuesday Prayer Group – 7:30 p.m.

For the summer months our Nursery is Open but not staffed.

Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling our grocery cart each month.
For the month of September we are collecting: Jam and Paper Products.

Save the Date!
Sunday, September 13 is Rally Day! Our worship service will be held at 10 a.m. and following worship we will be heading to The Dann Farm for a picnic.

Our growing ministry feels the need for new professional support and so we are sending out a call for proposals for a MINISTRY SUPPORT PERSON. We invite interested candidates to submit proposals describing what they feel they could offer to our ministry, what they feel called to do and what they would expect as remuneration. Applications forms are available at the office and on our website.

September is almost here! Please check the website calendar for all up and coming meetings and events. There are many on the calendar.

Many hands make light work, it is said and volunteers are always welcome and needed for:
• Scripture Readers
• Nursery duty
• Sunday school relief teachers
• Coffee and Fellowship
• Ushering
• Carrying Prayer Bowl
Please consider volunteering and contact the office if you are interested in volunteering!

The SPIRIT & WORSHIP GROUP will meet on Tuesday, September 15th, 7:00 p.m. This group meets occasionally to envision and plan our worship activities and events that enhance our spiritual walk with God including our regular Sunday services. Everyone is invited to these meetings without commitment to attending all the meetings.
Our September meeting will focus on activities up to and including Christmas. A January meeting will focus on activities up to Easter.
Come out and help us plan our worship and our spiritual growth.

The Men’s Breakfast Group will be hosting another FREE STORE on Saturday, September 12 from 12 to 3:00 p.m. Please bring your gently used clothing for all ages along with bedding for this event to the church.
Thank you in advance.

Milk Bags!
We are collecting empty outside milk bags. These bags will be used to make sleep mats for the poverty stricken people of Haiti, Africa and the Phillippines. You can see a sample in the foyer.
Please place the dry, clean, flattened milk bags in the marked box in the foyer.
