Recently there have been several Sunday Morning Offering Envelopes used which were from 2014.   Please destroy any 2014 envelopes that you have. From year to year the envelope numbers change and the danger is that the donation is credited to the wrong donor.   Thank you!

Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington – Day for Visioning Invitation

The Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington invites all 10,086 Presbyterian members and adherents under pastoral care across 32 congregations to a Day for Visioning on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. at Gale Presbyterian Church in Elmira, Ont.

This strategic visioning session will allow participants to share their views and ideas about where the Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington should be headed – which will help determine how the Presbytery’s financial resources will be used moving forward.

The Day for Visioning will be facilitated by the Rev. Peter Coutts, General Presbyter of the Presbytery of Calgary-Macleod. Rev. Coutts brings nearly three decades of experience in parish ministry at churches in Calgary, London and Victoria, B.C. to his current role, as he assists clergy, sessions and congregations with leadership, planning and resources. He is also the author of Choosing Change: How to Motivate Churches to Face the Future.

Some key questions to consider in advance of the Day for Visioning include:
• What is the church called to be?
• What is the church’s context – in society and in our congregations and presbytery?
• How do we fulfill our calling, given the context today – and in the future?

The Day for Visioning will include devotions, a presentation, discussion groups and prayer.

Please register online at www.dayforvisioning.eventbrite.com
If you do not have Internet access, please call 519-621-3630 to register.
