WE INVITE ALL Gale PEOPLE
To be in on the Visioning Process for the Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington.
APRIL 16th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

The Presbytery is undertaking a visioning process and would like input from all congregations. Their main event will be a Visioning Workshop to be held here at Gale on May 2nd, facilitated by Rev. Peter Coutts. Rev. Coutts will also be a guest speaker at our worship service on May 3rd.

The visioning group is asking congregations to consider 4 questions to help in the process:

1:  How are things today for our congregation and the Presbyterian congregations in our area?
2: What can we imagine God desires to see in the next ten years in the Christian faith communities in our area and in the society around us?
3. What new priorities might congregations and the presbytery need to focus on today to help the congregations of 2025?
4. What kind of help might they need from Presbytery?

This is an important step for our Presbytery and the process will have great parallel benefits to Gale Presbyterian Church as well.

HELP US OUT – PLEASE COME OUT!

Camp Sunday is Coming Soon!

On Sunday April 19 during our morning worship service we will learn all about the exciting camping experiences available for Gale Families this coming spring and summer.

Following worship we invite you to join us for a lunch of Baked Potatoes with all the toppings, salad and of course dessert. This lunch is an important fundraiser to support our Gale Campership Fund.  If you wish you may contribute through your envelopes by marking “Campership Fund” on the other line.

This past year our Campership Fund helped to support 6 youth attend summer camp programs. Each of them received 60% of their camp fees from the Gale fund.  We need to replenish this Fund before the upcoming Camp Season so that we can continue to make Christian camping part of the summer plans for many of the children of Gale.

There will be registration information for summer church camps, Gale Fellowship Retreat Weekend (May 22 -24) and Kintail on the Road (VBS program offered August 24 -28 at Gale) available for you to look over during lunch.

Camping often represents a unique opportunity for ministry with children and youth. It can have a profound effect on the faith journeys of our young people, building enduring friendships and developing valuable leadership skills. Why not plan to make some great camp memories this year, sitting around the campfire, playing on the beach, or singing camp songs. Join us April 19 and learn how!
