For the summer months our Nursery is Open but not staffed.
The flowers placed in the santuary today are in honor of Bob and Judie Witney 50th wedding anniversary.
Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling our grocery cart each month. For the month of August we are collecting: Hamburger Helper and Canned Meat such as Ham, Chicken and Turkey.
Our growing ministry feels the need for new professional support and so we are sending out a call for proposals for a MINISTRY SUPPORT PERSON. We invite interested candidates to submit proposals describing what they feel they could offer to our ministry, what they feel called to do and what they would expect as remuneration. Applications forms are available at the office and on our website.

Amy Hopper and Melanie Dow are very excited to be the Sunday School Superintendents starting this September. We are very excited that our Sunday School continues to grow and with that we are looking at needing to create another class. With this we are needing a few extra teachers to help teacher Sunday School this year. We can work around your schedule and how often you are able to help out. All lesson plans are prepared and craft supplies can be found at the church. If you are interested please speak to Amy or Melanie melcliffordca@yahoo.ca or 519-836-7244 (Mel)
Milk Bags!
We are collecting empty outside milk bags. These bags will be used to make sleep mats for the poverty stricken people of Haiti, Africa and the Phillippines. So far we have contributed to the making of 7 sleep mats.
You can see a sample in the foyer.
Please place the dry, clean, flattened milk bags in the marked box in the foyer.

| The SPIRIT & WORSHIP GROUP will meet on Tuesday, September 15th, 7:00 p.m. This group meets occasionally to envision and plan our worship activities and events that enhance our spiritual walk with God including our regular Sunday services.
Everyone is invited to attend these meetings without commitment to attending all the meetings. Our September meeting will focus on activities up to and including Christmas. A January meeting will focus on activities up to Easter 2016. Come out and be a part of the planning of our worship and our spiritual growth. For a more detailed description of what this group does please speak to Rev. Sinclair.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN OUR HISTORY? Gale Presbyterian Church has a good collection of archival and historical documents that need to be sorted and preserved. Do you have a passion for history and preservation? We are looking for a team of 2 or 3 people to explore our archival material and to ensure the right material is kept for posterity. Can you help? Please talk to our office and get us started.

The Men’s Breakfast Group will be hosting another FREE STORE on Saturday, September 12 from 12 to 3:00 p.m. Please bring your gently used clothing for all ages along with bedding for this event to the church.
