Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling our grocery cart each month. For the month of July we are collecting: Hamburger Helper and Canned Meat.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
We will be providing snacks for our VBS participants, staff and volunteers.
Sign up sheets are available in the foyer if you are able to help out with our grocery list.
Strawberry Jam…The Life and Mission Team will be picking strawberries along with friends from Community Services Center on Thursday, July 2 at 9:00 a.m. Anyone wishing to join use please speak to Hilke Dann or Kees Vandermey. ALSO on Friday, July 3 at 9:00 a.m. at the Church you are invited to help make strawberry jam. Friends from Community Services will receive free jam and the rest will be sold to the congregation to help cover the cost.
The Men’s Breakfast Group will be hosting another FREE STORE on Saturday, September 19 from 12 to 3:00 p.m. Please save you gently used clothing for all ages along with bedding for this event.

Milk Bags!
We are collecting empty outside milk bags. These bags will be used to make sleep mats for the poverty stricken people of Haiti, Africa and the Phillippines.
Please place the dry, clean, flattened milk bags in the marked box in the foyer.

SHOWERS OF HAPPINESS
Laura Kendall is getting married this summer!
It is difficult for Laura to get to Elmira for a “Bridal Shower” at Gale, we are going to send showers of good wishes and a gift card from her friends here to her home in Vancouver. (Gift Cards travel a little easier!)
Your contribution for Laura’s gift card can be given to Carol MacIntyre, Wendy in the church office or it can also be left with Karen Pond at the gift card table no later than July 5th.
