Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling the baskets at the door each month. For the month of March we are collecting: Ketchup and toothpaste.

YOUTH EVENT…Friday March 13th to go to Chicopee Snow Tubing. This would be open to your whole family.
We will be meeting at the church for 6:15 pm. Cost for 2 hours is adults $20, children 12 and under $18, and they must wear a helmet. If you are interested please let Mel Dow or Denise Dickieson know by Wed. March 11.
A new part-time staff position at Gale is opening up and maybe you are the perfect fit! The Program Co-ordinator will ensure we have a cohesive approach to the many programs offered in our church. The scope of the duties are wide-ranging so if you enjoy variety, collaborating with people, and demonstrating the love of Christ in your work, then this position might be for you. You can see the full job description on the church website. The next All Together Tuesday will be Tuesday, March 10 starting at 6 pm with a Potluck. There will be activities for children and adult, after the meal time. If you plan on attending please speak to Amy Hopper or Melanie Dow so they
can have enough supplies!
MEN’S BREAKFAST will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 8:30 a.m. The discussion will be on Lucado’s “Grace” Chapter 4. Please sign up in the foyer.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about yourself as a caregiver? The Pastoral Care Committee encourages you to come to an informational meeting on Monday, March 23rd from 6:30-8:30. This is open to anyone interested in being involved in pastoral care at Gale, or anyone who just wants to attend to learn more, no commitment is necessary. For further information please contact Anne Sinclair, Janet Martin or Sandy Wilmering. RSVP the office if you plan to attend.
BIRTHRIGHT is unique. We provide non-judgmental support and love to pregnant women and their unborn children. Birthright is not involved in any religious movements, political activities, or lobbying. Our focus is on loving the mother, and helping her help herself.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! You can work as an office volunteer, or you can keep our baby and maternity clothes in order, or a volunteer supervisor, or how about a Board Member?
Birthright welcomes volunteers of any age, race, gender, or religion.

Coming up – Sunday March 29th we will hold Café Church in the Fellowship Hall. This service will include the sacrament of baptism for Parker Douglas (son of Paul and Betty Douglas, nephew of Dirk and Lisa Molenaar).
We will also receive new members by reaffirmation of faith and certificate of transfer. If you have an interest in joining Gale Presbyterian Church at this time please speak to Rev. Sinclair.

LENTEN COMMUNIONS TUESDAYS IN LENT – 7:00 pm The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday – February 18th this year. Lent is a season of reflection and preparation leading us to Good Friday and Easter – April 5th. Many people do special tasks, sacrifices or rituals to mark these 40 days. March 10th – Taizé worship |
Sing through the hymnal! Come join the youth of Elmira Mennonite Church on March 14 & 15 from 1-9pm and March 16 & 17 from 7-9pm as we sing through the Hymnal: a Worship Book. Dessert, coffee, and tea will be served at the end of each night. Donations with be accepted for the MYF trip to Mennonite World Conference this summer.
