Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling our grocery cart each month. For the month of May we are collecting: Fruit Juice and Canned Meat
HELP FOR NEPAL
If you would like to donate to the relief efforts you may do so by marking the “Other” line of your envelope NEPAL.
If you are a pre-authorized donor and don’t have envelopes, you may use the visitor envelopes on the shelf in the entry or a plain white envelope. Please ensure your name is on the envelope and the word NEPAL.
The Life and Mission Team are looking for clothes hangers for a future project. If you have any extra hangers please leave them by the grocery cart.
YARD SALE at Gale
Friday, May 29th (12-6 p.m.) and Saturday, May 30th (8 a.m.-1 pm.)
Do you have some ‘Treasures’ around your house that you have thought of donating to the Thrift Stores and other organizations. If so, please save these ‘Treasures’ and bring them to the church after May 18th.
Please no clothing. Electronics will be accepted.
Kintail on the Road will be returning once again this summer to Gale Church! Mark the week Monday August 24 to Friday August 28 on your calendar and plan to have your children join us. This year’s theme is “No Matter What!”
Registration forms are now available in the church office or online. Please drop off all completed registration forms at the church office. Registration is open ANYONE. We have spots still available so sign up soon!
The Life and Mission Team will be hosting ‘preserve making days’ for in-season fruits and vegetables. Our first event will be strawberry jam making in June. We would ask the congregation to save their jam and tomatoe sauce jars for this purpose. Please place them by the grocery cart.
