Extend-A-Family is an organization that supports people who have a development and/or physical disability. A huge part of the work we do it connecting the people we support with a community member who shares similar interests/hobbies etc. Presently we have a very urgent need for a young man who lives in West Montrose. A 16 year old male who likes to go swimming, play bocce ball and visit the park, is looking for a male support person in West Montrose. Experience supporting personal care needs and physically active behaviours is required. A vehicle is required. Three flexible week days 2:30pm-8:00pm (possibility of increased summer hours). The pay rate is $13.36/hr (plus yearly pay equity of $1 per hr worked). Expenses such as car mileage are covered.
