With Olympic fever at an all-time high these days, it might be in-keeping with the season, so to speak, to consider the finish line we are fast approaching at Gale!
Our treasurer will be sharing news of our “gold” standing at our Annual Meeting next weekend, March 2.
- How did we fare in 2013?
- Are we meeting our financial obligations?
- What plans do we have for 2014?
- What new committee has been formed?
- When will we be hearing a minister preach for the call?
These and other questions will be answered at the meeting which will begin immediately after the service with potluck lunch. Please bring something to share (hot, cold, main or sweet) along with your plates and utensils (we can minimize anyone’s time in the kitchen if we just bring our own!)
Next Sunday is also a special day for a group of young members who will be commissioned as Communicants.
And we will share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
