HOPE IN A CHILD
Isaiah 2:1-5, Matthew 24: 36-44
We enter into Advent – the season leading up to celebrating God coming to us in the form of a baby. Just as God declared his hope for humanity by becoming a human baby, we continue to express our hope and faith in the good of the world by bringing babies into it. There are many ways to state our faith, but one of the most powerful statements of faith in God’s Kingdom is to live our lives like we’re truly in the Kingdom. We marry, we work, we party, we have babies, we build homes and businesses. Almost anything we do with an eye to the future is our statement of faith – The world is God’s Kingdom and it is good and we are all invited into it.
