Blanket Exercise Worship Service

Sunday, May 21^st is Healing and Reconciliation Sunday in the Presbyterian Church. In recognition of the church’s ongoing work of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples in Canada, Gale’s worship service will be held in the fellowship hall so that the congregation can participate in an activity called the Blanket Exercise.

The Blanket Exercise is an interactive way of learning the history most Canadians were never taught. It was developed by the Aboriginal Rights Coalition with help from Indigenous elders and teachers. So come prepared to do something a little different that Sunday morning as we learn together about the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
