Apple Picking – An event for ALL ages!
We need volunteers of all sizes to help pick apples for our Apple Pie Fundraiser.
Meet at the church on Saturday, October 4th at 9am or meet us at the orchard at 9:30.
If you can’t make it for 9:30 but can help later in the morning, you can call Melanie’s cell (519-835-1711) to find out if the group is still picking apples.
What we need for picking apples:
– sturdy banana boxes
– ladders (for reaching the tops of the trees)
– boots (in case the grass is wet)
– gloves (to keep your hands warm when picking)
– a few trucks/vans/suvs for taking the apples to the storage location
We will have pails/buckets available for collecting the apples.
Please RSVP to Melanie Dow if you are able to come and whether you will meet at the church or the orchard.
