“Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer

The author is both a scientist and a poet who weaves her indigenous traditions and botanical knowledge to make a compelling read. This book fits well within our theme this year of environmental stewardship and is a good follow up to our last book which invited us to “seek indigenous wisdom”.
