Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community.
We help by filling our grocery cart each month.
For the month of September, we are collecting canned fruit, Cheez Whiz, Jam, and Crackers.

Our Monthly Luncheons will start up again on Tuesday, September 20th.   On the menu is Meat or Vegetarian Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Roll, Peach Dessert with Ice Cream and a Beverage.   All for $12.

Dave Chalmers & Joan Moyer wish to thank the Gale congregation for contributing food items towards KOTR VBS. Thanks also to those who helped in the kitchen. With everybody’s help we were able to provide delicious and varied snacks (twice a day) to the many active participants, staff and volunteers. The snacks fueled their energy for their many fun activities.

No longer a stranger

Presbyterians Sharing supports Almanarah church in London, Ontario, which provides community for Arabic-speaking immigrants who come to Canada from the Middle East. Many people’s lives have been touched by the ministry, and their stories are incredible and encouraging. A member who recently arrived from Iraq, shares “When we came to Canada, we felt like strangers. I had a huge need to find good and honest friends who spoke my language and knew my culture, to help and support and guide us during our first days in Canada. I thank God I have found Almanarah Church, my new family in Canada. I am not a stranger any more. I consider Almanarah as a mother who gathers her children, provides love and care, carries the heavy load, encourages and guides them to success, and strengthens their faith.”

Presbyterians Sharing welcomes the stranger
