Kintail on the Road is currently FULL! With a waiting list!

What a thought! We have 48 kids excited to come to Gale for a week to learn about God! Kintail on the Road is here at Gale August 18 to 22.

Our theme for the week is Getting Real: Finding Your True Self in Jesus

Monday – Jesus is God with us – Jesus is God with us-not far off, but always present.

Tuesday – Jesus is Friend – Jesus calls us friends; he shows us a model of real friendship that helps us be friends to others

Wednesday – Jesus is Teacher – Jesus is the great teacher; he leads with authority, wisdom, and truth. His teachings are trustworthy.

Thursday – Jesus is Healer – Jesus brings healing in many ways. Jesus can us to bring healing to those around us.

Friday – Jesus is Savior  – Jesus offers us forgiveness.

How you can help!

First we need to have six volunteers over the age of 16 at Gale everyday to be Camp Councillors. We would love to have you for a day or two or even all week!

Each group will have a Kintail Staff member, a Gale Volunteer and two junior leaders from Gale. These Junior leaders are either 14 or 15, love the program, they but are too old to be campers — but still want to come! They will be volunteering with the program while collecting volunteer hours for high school.

We will need food items because we provide snacks to all the campers and volunteers twice a day. Watch for sign up sheets in May on the bulletin board at Gale.

We need craft items too; please watch the Get Involved page https://www.galepresbyterian.com/get-involved/ for items we are looking for.

Decorating! Our theme is jungle theme! Can you help make the entrance look like a jungle! Or the sanctuary look like Camp Kintail! with tents, a faux campfire, camping chairs.

Maybe you are a kitchen person! Would you be willing to make our snacks? Everything you need will be provided for you!

Clean up. Could you come in and help clean up each day? Doing dishes, taking garbage out or filling the paper towels.
