Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community.
We help by filling our grocery cart each month.
For the month of January we are collecting canned fruit and Cheez Whiz.
The SPIRIT & WORSHIP GROUP meets on Tuesday, January 19th, 7:00 p.m. This meeting will focus on creating special worship service and activities for Lent and Easter.
Everyone is invited to attend these meetings without commitment to attending all meetings. We’d just like you to give your input into our worship plans for the upcoming weeks.

In May, 2015 Gale hosted a Presbytery visioning workshop. The Vision Committee of Presbytery will present their report from that workshop at a stated hour of 8:15-9:00 p.m. Tuesday January 19th, 2016 at Westside Presbyterian Church, Cambridge.
The crux of the report is a proposal to hire a full-time Presbytery staff. All participants of the May workshop are encouraged to attend this meeting of Presbytery to hear and comment on their report. Please speak to Rev. Sinclair for further information.
OPEN SESSION MEETING
January 21st, 6:30 p.m.
Session invites all retired elders of Gale Presbyterian Church – and any other congregation – to join us in Open Session
on January 21st.
We’d like to show our appreciation for your years of service.
We’d like to keep you informed of the current state of affairs and visions for Gale.
We’d like to explore new and different ways that all elders can continue to serve the vibrant ministry at Gale.
Please let Rev. Scott know whether or not you are able to attend.
COMMITTEE REPORTS for the ANNUAL REPORT are due January 29th.
THE ANNUAL MEETING for Gale Presbyterian Church will be held following worship and a pot luck lunch on Sunday, February 21st. This important meeting needs input from everyone so plan now to bring a dish and be part of the discussion.
The 2015 INCOME TAX RECEIPTS are available on the table in the entry. Please pick up yours.
Note to Elders: If any of your folks are home bound, please feel free to deliver their receipt to them.
The season of Lent starts early this year – Mid-February. We will gather during Lent for special communion services on
Tuesday evenings, 7– 7:45 p.m. starting on February 16th.
A full schedule of the Lent Communions will be printed in an upcoming bulletin and on our website.
