Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community.
We help by filling our grocery cart each month.
For the month of March we are collecting soda crackers and Campbell’s Chunky Soup.
Gale is hosting the Elmira & District Ministerial Association Lenten Service this Wednesday, March 2nd at 7 p.m.
Rev. Fred Redekop will be preaching. We need a few volunteers to donate and set up light refreshments for about 30 people. Please talk to Rev. Sinclair if you can help.
The Life and Mission Team is planning a couple of events for March Break.
Wednesday, March 16th, 9 a.m.-Noon –Soup Making.
Friday, March 18th – Children’s fun and craft day.

Building community
Presbyterians Sharing supports Two Rivers Church in Guelph, Ontario as it engages people in the community “where they are at”, in neutral spaces. Some of the initiatives launched this past year include a musical Kitchen Party, Theology in the Dark (movies) and Theology by the Glass (pub gatherings), a bicycle event, a community garden, a book club and potluck dinners hosted in people’s homes. These events make others aware of the church’s presence in the city and have resulted in new members and participants in church programs. By making connections, the community is strengthened. Recently, Two Rivers members joined with neighbours to sponsor a Syrian refugee family! Pray for Two Rivers church as it continues to reach out and make a difference. Retirement with Meaning: Living with the Spirit of Adventure! Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre is offering a new retreat for individuals and couples who are recently retired or looking towards retirement. Sunday April 24 – Tuesday April 26th. Speaker is Rev. Dr. Andrew Irvine. Cost is $250 per person. Call 519-824-7898
The Gale church community has made a donation to Tweedsmuir Memorial Presbyterian Church to honour the memory of Rev. D. Sinclair, the father of our Minister Rev. Scott Sinclair
