Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community.
We help by filling our grocery cart each month.  For the month of March we are collecting soda crackers and Campbell’s Chunky Soup.

 

The Life and Mission Team have planned a couple of events for March Break.
Wednesday, March 16th, 9 a.m.-Noon –Soup Making.
A portion of the soup will be donated to the WCS and the remainder will be sold to the congregation.
Friday, March 18th, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.– Children’s fun and craft day. Cookie baking and wood working. For children 5 and up accompanied by an adult.
Please sign the sign up sheets in the fellowship hall.

 

Let’s decorate our church for Easter Sunday!
Purchase a potted flower to be placed in our sanctuary and dedicate it in “Honour”, “Memory” or “Celebration” of anyone or anything!
We will ask that sometime after the Easter Service you pick up the flower you ordered and enjoy it, plant it, or take to someone you can brighten their day.
Please put your order and payment in the Church Office mail file or turn into the office by March 13th.

There is a copy of it in our church library.

 

Sunday School offering for the month of February was $34, which will be donated to Riverside Public School.

 

St. Clement’s Parish, St. Clements will be hosting a SPRING CARD PARTY at the St. Clement’s Parish Hall, 3619
Lobsinger Line, St. Clements on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016.  Doors open at 6 p.m.  Lunch will be served at 6:30 p.m.  There will be lots of prizes, share the wealth and quilt raffle.  Admission is $8.00.  Wheelchair Accessible.  This event is sponsored by the St. Clement’s Christian Mothers’ Society.  Everyone is welcome!

 

On Saturday March 19th at 7:30pm the Kitchener – Waterloo Community Orchestra invites you at Knox Presbyterian Church (50 Erb St. W., Waterloo) to a concert featuring Kiwanis Festival Youth Concerto Winners.

 

Rescue Junction Live in Concert, Saturday, April 16th, 7 pm, Elmira Mennonite Church.  An offering will be taken to support new affordable and barrier-free housing in Elmira by MennoHomes.  See poster.

 

Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 8:30 a.m. in the church basement. All men are invited to join for this informal meal, fellowship and discussion.

Retirement with Meaning: Living with the Spirit of Adventure!  Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre is offering a new retreat for individuals and couples who are recently retired or looking towards retirement. Sunday April 24 – Tuesday April 26th.  Speaker is Rev. Dr. Andrew Irvine. Cost is $250 per person.  Call 519-824-7898.
