Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community.
We help by filling our grocery cart each month.
For the month of April, we are collecting meal helpers (hamburger helper, stove top dressing and sidekicks) and Chunky Soup.
Thanks to the Gale church team that came out last Saturday to plant trees for Woolwich. We had a great turn out including the enthusiastic Youth Group.
MOTHER’S DAY PHOTOS
We need pictures of you and your mom, grandma, or special influential woman in your life. Please email pictures to Julie (tjules@live.ca ) or place in her mail file (Music Director) to be scanned by Wednesday May 4th at the latest. We will be showing all pictures in our Mother’s Day Benediction.
Gale is hosting a FISH fry on Wed., May 4th. ADVANCE TICKET ONLY – Adults $17, Children (12 & under) $8. TAKE OUT TICKETS can be purchased also. Tickets are available at the Church Office (519)669-2852 or Lee Coulman (519)669-8217. 60 fruit pies will be needed for dessert. If you can donate pies, please sign the sheet in the fellowship hall or call Marg Bauman (519)880-9165. Please let Marnee Ewasko know if you can help out in some way.

Thursday, May 26th Dr. John Bowen will speak at Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre on the topic “Roots and Wings: Being Church in the 21st Century.” Dr. Bowen will share about new ways to touch communities with the Gospels. Sunday May 15th is PENTECOST – A day we celebrate the birth of the church, the power of God’s Spirit.
We’ll make this especially vibrant at Gale by “All Things Red!” Red is the liturgical colour for the day so wear red, pin on some red, bring some red flowers. We plan to make Pentecost a true celebration of the Holy Spirit alive in our world. “All Things Red!”
Our Library…
We have received some new books in our church library.
Be sure to come and check them out.
The library is open whenever the church is open! You are very welcome to help yourselves to books and sign them out in the binder beside the door. You can also drop by Sunday before church and a staff member will be pleased to help you make your selections.
