Every Sunday at Gale, the children are encouraged to bring their Bible, an offering, a Gale library book and an item for the Woolwich Food Bank.
The Sunday School children are rewarded with coins they can later use for “shopping” for small items in the Sunday School ‘store’.
In February a member of the Sunday School had a birthday party and she invited her friends to bring items for the food bank instead of gifts. She ended up donating 30 items to the food bank.
