I like LENT. To me it is a more spiritually fulfilling season than Christmas. That’s probably because our society has not yet kidnapped the season into a commercial juggernaut to save our retailers – and our church bottom lines.
I encourage us to practice more spiritual disciplines like fasting, meditation, study, service and prayer, etc. We should all have some sort of outward expression of our inner spirituality.
