Woolwich Community Services provide support for the most vulnerable in our Community. We help by filling the baskets at the door each month.
For the month of June we are collecting: cookies and cake mix
Gale welcomes Daniel Rubinoff as supply music co-ordinator throughout the month of June. Daniel is an accomplished musician who teaches saxophone and chamber music for YorkUniversity and whose recorded music (on 5 CDs) is regularly featured on CBC radio. He has also exercised leadership in many church-music contexts. Welcome Daniel! We look forward to your music ministry among us.
Field Dedication
Strawberries, ice cream, rice krispie squares and a June evening means that it is time once again for our Field Dedication! On Wednesday, June 18th at 7:30 p.m., Rev. Karla will be Dedicating the 2014 crop of soybeans. Location: the top of the field on Side Road 4th line E. After the Dedication please join us for refreshments at the home of Jean Goodwin, #7219 in the village of Inverhaugh just a short distance from the field. To get to the field take Line 86 E. towards Guelph. Just after the WestMontroseBridge, turn left at the lights at Katharine St. N. (formerly Reg. Rd. 23) and proceed until just past the village of Inverhaugh. At the top of the hill, turn from right onto 4th Line E. Parking is along the side of the road. Travel time from Elmira is about 15 minutes. Please call Fran Hill (519)669-8572 or Joyce Crane (519)669-3351 if you need a ride or have any questions.

Youth
Would you be willing to set sometime aside and teach Sunday School? Everything is provided for you and you can decide on amount of commitment. If so please let Laurie Martin or Lisa Molenaar know. We are meeting at 7pm Tuesday night at the Molenaars.
Youth Group Car Wash and Bake Sale a Huge Success! Thank you to everyone who helped by donating baked goods and car wash supplies. Thank you also to everyone who made sure we had the water key, hoses and supplies for the day. Thank you to everyone who came out to get their cars washed. Thank you to Anna Wall, Glen and Denise for getting their hands dirty too. But the biggest thank you needs to go to the 8 youth who came out that day and worked SO hard. We didn’t get an exact total of cars but it was well over 50 that came through they never really stopped! The youth worked so hard that they raised $653 to go into the Youth Special Events Account to support Larger Youth Events. Hope this can be an annual event, see you next year!
Kintail On The Road
WOW! Thank you so much for all your help with getting ready for Kintail on the Road! August 18-22, 2014.
We almost have enough volunteers to cover 1 adult to 6 campers. We need 2 people to help Monday, 2 people to help Wednesday and 1 person to help Friday. If you can help with one of these please let me know.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to bring snack items. If you haven’t there are sign up sheets by the doors to the fellowship hall.
We are also looking for craft supplies. If you have any of these supplies you can leave them on the desk in the library and I will sort them.
- Paper towel tubes (60)
- Christmas card (used, for cutting up, especially cards that depict the Biblical story)
- Pipe cleaners
- Balloons & Water Balloons
Lastly… Decorating
We would like to turn the entrance into a jungle … if you have … trees, animals, direction sign posts, and flowers.
We would like to turn the sanctuary into a camp site … if you have … Tents, greenery, pictures of or stuffed wild animals
